C-USA Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against UAB, but was injured early in his next start vs. North Texas and missed the remainder of the year... Threw for 205 yards and a career-high three touchdowns while completing 77% of his passes (17-22) to lead the Owls over the Blazers... 205 yards passing were his most in a game since he threw for 303 as a true freshman vs. UAB in 2018... Most experienced of the Owls’ QBs with 12 career starts including a pair of openers (Army 2019, Arkansas 2021)... Threw for 152 yards and a touchdown against the Razorbacks in his return to the starting role.

2019
Made seven starts at quarterback, throwing for 787 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75 of 142 passes…Threw for a season-high 161 yards at UAB (15-34) and connected on his first two TD passes of the year… Topped 1,000 career passing yards (1,008) in eight games, the fastest by an Owl since Nick Fannuzi threw for 1,203 in seven games as a sophomore transfer in 2009... The last Rice freshman QB to top 1,000 yards passing was Randy Hertel, who threw for 1,620 in 1977.
2018
A member of Mike Bloomgren's first recruiting class who made his debut at FIU and went on to throw for 621 yards (45-88-4) and three touchdowns in four games (three starts)... Threw for 313 yards against UTEP... Passing yards were most by an Owl freshman since Mark Comalander threw for 357 yards vs. Houston in 1984, the most by any Rice QB since Tyler Stehling threw for 407 vs. Prairie View in 2016, and the most in C-USA play by an Owl since Driphus Jackson finished with 359 at UTSA in 2015... Made his starting debut at North Texas, hitting on 21 of 37 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown while adding a second score on the ground... 21 completions were the most by an Owl this year and the most since Tyler Stehling completed 35 at Charlotte in 2016... Engineered an 11 play, 75-yard drive on his first possession as a starter to give the Owls a 7-0 lead, scoring the touchdown on a two-yard run... Tossed a three-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Cephus in the third quarter vs. UNT for the first of his career... Made his debut at FIU in the second quarter and completed his first pass attempt for an eight-yard completion to Austin Trammell... Took over in the fourth quarter after Evan Marshman was hurt... Named Player of the Week for the offensive scout team for his work before the Prairie View game.

Made the most of his return to the field after an injury as a junior, quarterbacking Prestonwood to the 2017 TAPPS Division 1 state title... Named to the TAPPS Division 1 All-State second team after throwing for 4,101 yards and 50 touchdowns while completing 67% of his passes (288/433)... Capture the state crown by rallying from 18 points down in the third quarter to defeat Houston's St. Pius X, 42-41, and reached the finals by avenging a regular-season loss to Fort Worth All Saints and fellow Rice signees Andrew Bird and Brendan Harmon... Awarded the Lion's Heart Award... Also lettered twice in baseball... 2017 Homecoming King, National Honor Society, A Honor Roll and ranks in the top 10% of his class... A member of the Young Men's Service League - national mother-son volunteer organization... 20+ hours annually volunteer service... Participated in a 2018 mission trip with the Prestonwood baseball team to the Dominican Republic with the school baseball team... Volunteer tornado relief in March 2016 with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... Young Life Future Business Leaders of America (2014-16)...
