Tyler Calhoun joined the Owls in August of 2025 as the Coordinator of Football Scouting.
Calhoun joined the Owls from UAB, where he served as the Blazers’ Assistant Director of Player Personnel & Scouting. He also completed a three-month Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship with the San Francisco 49ers from May to August of 2025.
A 2024 graduate from TCU with a degree in Communications and Business Studies, he worked with the Horned Frogs’ football program as an intern in player personnel and recruiting for three years while attending school. He also interned at the Air Force Academy in the summer of 2022, where his father, Troy, is the head coach.
