Owls Travel to College Station this Weekend

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team will head on the road to Texas A&M for the 44 Farms Team Invite, with the three-day meet starting Thursday morning.
With already one of the top throws in the nation, Mckyla Van der Westhuizen is back in action this weekend, with Emily Harbach also looking to build upon an impressive freshman debut in the javelin.
Rice's dynamic duo in the high jump, Alice Taylor and Josie Taylor, will compete in the event, holding the best clearances in the conference.
Julia Johannesdottir will have her first heptathlon of the season, while already breaking the school record in the 100m hurdles this outdoor season.
Barbora Malíková is slated to run her first 400m race of the season, the reigning champion of the event at the American Indoor Championships.
Saniya Friendly is set to compete in multiple races, already sitting with the second-fastest 100m time and eighth-best 400m time in the American.
