Alexis Earns Spot on American Honorable Mention

IRVING – Rice sophomore Aniah Alexis received another conference recognition after being named to the American Conference Honorable Mention for the fourth time this season, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Alexis led the Owls with a pair of double-doubles, first with 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a steal at Tulsa. Alexis added 14 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal against Tulane.
On the week, Alexis averaged 13.5 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, a block and a steal.
Rice (17-3, 7-0 American) looks for a 13th consecutive win Wednesday night when the team hosts Temple.
