Huddle Up Reunion Set for Bayou Bucket Weekend

Pep rally and reception on Friday, tailgate and on-field recognition on Saturday
HOUSTON – Rice Athletics and the "R" Association will celebrate the latest installment in the football series between Rice and Houston by welcoming back former football players to Rice Stadium, September 5–6, for the annual Huddle Up Reunion.
Festivities begin on Friday, September 5, with a campus pep rally on the Academic Quad at 6:30, followed by the Huddle Up Reunion Social, which will move this year to the Cohen House and start at 7 p.m.
Prior to the 6 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, September 6, to decide possession of the venerable Bayou Bucket trophy, the "R" Association will hold a pregame tailgate beginning at 3 p.m. All football letterwinners will be invited to participate in a recognition on the turf at Rice Stadium during the first quarter of the game, with a special acknowledgement to the members of the 1971 & 1972 Rice teams who split the first two games played between the Owls and Cougars.
All letterwinners are asked to register for the event using the Huddle Up Registration Page. Each football letterwinner will receive one (1) complimentary mobile ticket or free entry with their R Card. To replace a lost R Card, letterwinners should complete the R Card Request Form
