Megan Phillip Takes on NCAA Diving Zones Beginning Monday

Phillip will compete for multiple days in Iowa City
HOUSTON - Rice graduate diver Megan Phillip will head to the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, to take part in the NCAA's Zone D Diving Championships, beginning on Monday, March 10. The championship will go on until Wednesday, March 12.
Phillip earned the honor to participate in the NCAA Diving Zones in the one and three meter dive after posting scores that surpassed the NCAA cut line. Her highest one meter dive score was 304.88, posted in a dual meet between Rice and Houston back in January, surpassing the one meter cut of 265 points. Her highest three meter score this year was 305.55, posted in a dual meet between the Owls and North Texas. That surpassed the cut line of 280 for the three meter.
The Minnesota transfer is participating in her fifth NCAA Zone Championship, qualifying every year she competed for the Golden Gophers.
Phillip will be in action on Monday for the women's three meter dive and Tuesday for the women's one meter dive. Live video links can be found below, and fans can visit the tournament page above for live results.
