Owls Conclude Texas A&M Last Chance Meet on Saturday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Four Owls took part in Saturday's portion of the Texas A&M Last Chance Meet in College Station. The Owls will now wait to see who is selected for the NCAA Championships and who will advance to the National Invitational Championship.
The primary event the Owls competed in was the 1650 Free. Ella Dyson was able to shave 21-hundredths of a second off her seed time to finish with a final time of 16:20.05. Ava Portello dropped her time from 16:23.43 to 16:22.84 in the event. Amelia Kane finished with a time of 16:32.25 to round out the Owls participation in the event. All times were above the NCAA B standard of 16:41.45.
Arielle Hayon took part in the 200 Fly time trial and posted a time of 1:56.32, which is above the NCAA B standard of 1:58.93.
The Owls will now await postseason selections.
