Kuzmenok and Nevarro Continue to Semifinals

TULSA – The Rice men's tennis team saw success in doubles play on Friday at the American Individual Championship.
Petro Kuzmenok and Santiago Navarro (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) advanced to the semifinals after a decisive 7-1 victory over UTSA's Oskar Grzegorzewski and Enzo Vargas in the quarterfinals. They will face UAB's Juan Pablo Valdez and Ondrej Valek at 9 a.m. Saturday in the semifinals.
In singles, Kuzmenok fell to Charlotte's Ivan Drecopp 4-6, 4-6 to end his singles run.
