PREVIEW: Owls to Compete at American Individual Championship

TULSA – The Rice men's tennis team is set to compete in the American Conference Individual Championships this weekend, hosted by Tulsa.
Petro Kuzmenok, Santiago Navarro and Tommy Czaplinski will represent the Owls in the tournament. Kuzmenok and Navarro earned the No. 1 seed in doubles and received a first-round bye. They will open play in the Quarterfinals on Friday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. against the winner of Temple vs. UTSA.
In singles, Kuzmenok also received a bye as the No. 1 seed and will face the winner of Illias Worthington and Hady El Kordy on Thursday at 1 p.m. Czaplinski will open play in the round of 32 on Thursday at 11 a.m. against Enzo Vargas of UTSA.
