PREVIEW: Swim and Dive Begins 2025 at 14th-Ranked Arizona State

HOUSTON - The Rice Owls swimming and diving team will begin the season half of the 2024-25 season with a meet against the 14th-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils on Friday afternoon in Tempe, Arizona. The meet will take place at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center on the campus of Arizona State.
This is the second time ever that Rice and Arizona State have met in the water. The first time was nearly 20 years ago in the 2005-06 season, where the Sun Devils took a narrow victory over the Owls, 109-96, in Tempe.
There will not be a live stream of the event. Live results for the meet can be found on MeetMobile.com, where. recap being posted to RiceOwls.com afterwards.
In the last meet Rice participated in, Ella Dyson earned two podium finishes and posted two conference-leading times at the Phill Hansel Invitational hosted by Houston, posting an individual win in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:20.86. Dyson also finished in third in the A Final of the 500 Free with a time of 4:46.68.
