TEMPE, Ariz. - The Rice Owls swim and dive team fell on Friday afternoon to the 14th-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils, 230-70, at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center in Tempe, Arizona.
"It was a tough day on the final score, but the meet was part of our training trip and in the big picture our team has some aspects of our day to feel good about and some things we need to work on moving forward," said head coach Seth Huston.
Diver Megan Phillip notched Rice's lone top finish of the day, posting a score of 254.78 in the one meter dive. Rylee Coyne finished in third in the same event with a score of 231.45.
