Rice Finishes Regular Season at Tom Tellez Invite

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team concluded the regular season with a great team showing at the Tom Tellez Invitational at the University of Houston.

On the track, Arayna Mickles took second in the 400m, while Amelie Attenborough was second in the 800m. Taigen Hunter-Galvan and Sutton Walsh went 2-3 in the 1500m.

Over at the high jump, Alice Taylor and Josie Taylor both won the event with a clearance of 1.75m. Elena Schwegman claimed the javelin title with a throw of 37.63m.

Ginnie Okafor was second in the triple jump while Eliza Kraule was second in the long jump. Morgan Fey finished second in the shot put and fourth in discus.
