Owls Have Several Top Showings at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION – The Rice women's track and field team shined throughout the weekend at the 44 Farms Team Invitational at Texas A&M. In total, the Owls had 15 top-10 finishers across the two-day meet.

Taigen Hunter-Galvan and Amelie Attenborough had a tremendous day on the track, claiming the 800m and 1500m titles.

In the heptathlon, Alice Taylor had a personal best showing, while setting her own high jump record with a clearance of 1.85m.

In the discus, Morgan Fey had a personal best throw of 48.51m, moving her into eighth all-time at Rice.
