Men’s Basketball Wraps Up Homestand against League-Leader South Florida

HOUSTON — Rice wraps up its homestand this Saturday, February 10, when it hosts league-leader South Florida. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and the game will be streamed by ESPN+.

• Rice enters Saturday night's game with a 9-14 record and 3-7 in the American Athletic Conference. The Owls look to bounce back after falling to SMU, 95-69.
• Rice is led by fifth-year senior guard Travis Evee, who is scoring 15.7 points per game, good for eighth in the American. He's adding 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.2 steals while also placing eighth in the league in free throw percentage (.819).
• Sophomore guard Mekhi Mason is second on the team with 14.4 points, and 2.8 assists while placing third with 3.9 rebounds.
