Rice Football is thrilled to announce a series of upgrades to Rice Stadium, aimed at providing an extraordinary fan experience during their inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference. These enhancements will elevate the atmosphere and comfort for fans attending the games, ensuring an unforgettable time for everyone.
The stadium upgrades are highlighted by a fully modernized R-Room, which is accessible to Owl Club donors at the Sammy Select level, offering a spacious and upgraded hospitality experience. With state-of-the-art audiovisual features, including a new sound system and televisions, fans will enjoy crystal-clear viewing and immersive game-day excitement. The space will continue to honor the program's storied history and legendary figures, including hall of fame members, all-americans, and conference champion teams.
The introduction of multi-tiered Party Decks on the Northwest and Southeast sides of the stadium will offer a dedicated food and beverage and tiered seating with partial shade. The Southeast Party Deck, adjacent to the student section will provide an upgraded experience for students as well as dedicated student offerings. Likewise, the Northwest Party Deck, conveniently located near the kid's zone, allows parents to enjoy an upgraded beverage offering while their children experience an enhanced kid zone.
Concourse upgrades will feature TVs throughout the area, ensuring fans take advantage of every moment of the action. Improved WiFi connectivity will enhance digital access, while an improved concession experience will offer a wide variety of delicious options. Additional upgrades to Rice Stadium include enhanced bathrooms, improving convenience and accessibility for all attendees.
