Women’s T&F Ready for C-USA Outdoor Championships

DENTON – The Rice Owls women's track & field team heads to Denton, Texas this week to compete in the C-USA Outdoor Championships starting on Thursday through Sunday.
The Owls are coming off a highly completive showing during the indoor season, finishing in second at the C-USA Indoor Championships while having numerous top showing throughout the outdoor season.
In total, the Owls will have 27 athletes competing in 21 events. Several event winners from last year's outdoor championships return including Erna Gunnarsdottir (shot put) and Tara Simpson-Sullivan (hammer throw).
