HOUSTON – The Rice Owls women's track & field team will host their final track meet of the season this weekend for the J. Fred Duckett Twilight Invitational. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with the hammer throw, with running events beginning at 1:30 p.m.
In total, the Owls will have 33 athletes competing in 18 events. Schools aside from Rice are Houston Christian, Texas Southern, Houston, Sam Houston, McNeese, Lamar, SFA, UTSA, UT-Tyler, Dallas Baptist, Cameron, New Orleans, Nicholls State, North American, Our Lady of the Lake, Prairie View, St. Edward's, TAMU-Kingsville and UTRGV.
Tickets for the event will be on sale outside of the gates at Holloway Field.
