Two straight JCC threes cut the lead to five, but a Max Fielder layup sent the Owls on a 9-3 run to push their lead back to 36-25. Jarvis Christian scored seven of the next nine points to pull within six, but Carl Pierre hit a three from the top of the key just before the end of the half as the Owls went into the break leading 41-32.

What Scott Pera Had to Say
"We were happy to play the game. I think we needed it. We needed to look at some different things. We were able to get some guys some really good minutes, which hopefully will A, help their conditioning and B, help their confidence, because we're going to need them all. It's always good to win, but it's better to play like we did in the second half, like we're capable of as we head into quite a stretch coming up.
