
Soccer Places Three on C-USA All-Academic Team

HOUSTON — Goalkeeper Bella Killgore and midfielders Serena Pham and Delaney Schultz have been named to the 2022 Conference USA All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday morning.
A three-time member of the All-Academic team, Killgore was named to the First Team. She is a Chemical Engineering major with a 3.68 GPA. She has played 98.8% of the team's minutes, leading C-USA with 83 saves and six shutouts. In conference games, she leads the league in saves (46), shutouts (6), goals against average (0.33) and save percentage (.939) while allowing just three goals. She became the first goalkeeper in Conference USA history with 350 career saves, 45 wins, 25 shutouts.
Pham has a 3.98 GPA in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. She has played in 10 games, making nine starts. Pham has six points on two goals and two assists. She assisted on both goals in a 2-1 victory over UTSA and followed by scoring the opening goal in a 3-0 win over FIU, which led to her being named C-USA's Offensive Player of the Week.
Schultz is on the team for the third straight year. She is double-majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Sciences, earning a 3.65 GPA. She is second on the team in goals and points and third in assists. In conference games, the St. Louis, Mo., native is second in Conference USA with five goals and 12 points and third with seven assists while leading the league with three game-winning goals.
Rice closes the regular season tomorrow, Oct. 29, at UAB. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be streamed by CUSAtv.
