Henry Daly Named C-USA Golfer of the Week

HOUSTON — Coming off his fourth straight top-20 finish at The Clerico, freshman Henry Daly was named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week presented by Blenders Eyewear.
It is his first career Golfer of the Week honor. Daly's performance helped the Owls to a fourth-place finish.
Daly opened the tournament with a 76. After rain washed away the second round, he closed with a one-under par 70 to help the Owls move up four spots while finishing in 13th-place. He became the first Owl with four straight top-20 finishes to open the season since Jade Scott had six in 2009-10.
Daly joins Raghav Chugh as Owls who have won the award this year. They become the first pair of teammates to win the award since Nick Duggan and Thomas Bockholt III did so in 2019-20.
