
No. 14 Rice Hosts Crosstown Rival Houston in Battle of Unbeatens

HOUSTON — The 14th-ranked Rice Soccer team will host crosstown rival Houston in a battle of unbeaten teams this Thursday, Sept. 9. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be streamed by CUSAtv.

Scouting Rice
• Head Coach Brian Lee is in his third season at the helm of the Rice soccer program. He holds a 29-9-5 record and is 316-197-60 in 24 years as a head coach.
• The Owls are 5-0-1 after playing to a 1-1 tie against Texas last Sunday.
• Junior midfielder Delaney Schultz is second in Conference USA in both goals (4) and points (12). She also leads the team with four assists, 19 shots and 12 shots on goal.

• Goalkeeper Bella Killgore has allowed just four goals, leading C-USA with a 0.63 goals against average, an 88.2% save percentage and 30 saves.
