Golf Concludes Second Round of Jim Rivers Intercollegiate

Choudrant, La. — Rice golf carded its second straight round of 301 to finish the second round of the season-opening Jim Rivers Intercollegiate tied for 18th-place.
The Owls are tied with Chattanooga at 26-over par.
Junior Forrest Park posted a 74 to sit three-over par in a tie for 52nd-place. Senior Jake Benson and junior Thomas Bockholt III are tied for 82nd-place at seven-over par. Benson carded a 74 while Bockholt shot a 77.
Freshman Raghav Chugh and redshirt freshman Blake Benson, playing in their first collegiate tournament, are tied for 97th-place at nine-over par. Chugh shot a 76 and Benson carded a 79. Senior Jack Diamond is tied for 111th-place, posting his second straight 79.
UTSA leads the team competition at 14-under par, three strokes in front of second-place Louisiana Tech. La Tech's Sam Murphy leads the individual competition at eight-under par, one stroke in front of Southern Miss's Hunter Atkins.
