
Rishi Kejriwal Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

HOUSTON — Senior golfer Rishi Kejriwal was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, announced Thursday afternoon by the conference office.
This is Kejriwal's first appearance on the team. It is the first time Rice has had a member on the All-Academic Team since 2018.
Kejriwal, who is majoring in Mathematical Economic Analysis and minoring in Business, has a 3.89 GPA. He is a four-time member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and four-time C-USA Academic Medal honoree. He is a three-time Arthur Ashe Jr. Sport Scholar Qualifier and a two-time Golf Coaches Athletic Association All-America Scholar. He has also been named the Rice University Scholar Athlete and twice been named to the Rice President's Honor Roll.
This year, the Austin native is averaging 76.94 strokes per round. His best effort came at the Trinity Forest Invitational, where he tied for 28th-place. He also fired a season-best 72 in the second round.
