Soccer Adds Match vs. Texas A&M For Sunday

Newly Added Game vs. Aggies Set For 3 PM At Holloway Field
HOUSTON – The Rice Soccer program announced an update to its non-conference schedule with the addition of a home game vs. Texas A&M set for this Sunday (Mar. 14) at 3 p.m. at the Owls' Holloway Field.
The news comes following the cancellation of Rice's previously scheduled game for that same Sunday vs. SMU, which was called due to COVID issues within the Mustangs' program.
The matchup with Texas A&M will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2016. The Aggies have played at Rice twice since 2008, with the most recent match at Holloway Field in 2015.
The Rice Soccer team is 4-1-0 this season. The Owls are scheduled to play a road match at crosstown rival Houston on March 11. The Thursday start time at U.H. is set for 5 pm.
