Postgame Reaction – Rice Head Coach Genny Volpe
"This Baylor match really did give us some confidence. We saw a lot of things that we do really well against a quality team. We obviously showed that we can compete with anyone in the country. The score was the score but I think the rallies and the level of play was extremely high. I think anyone who watched that match was highly entertained. This was a very positive experience. No one likes to lose but I think we learned a lot about ourselves."
