Owls & Tigers Still Set To Play Feb. 21 At Holloway Field
The Rice home soccer match vs. crosstown foe Texas Southern originally scheduled for Sunday (Feb. 14) has been postponed, announced Owl head coach Brian Lee.
A possible makeup date has not been set, but the same two teams are already scheduled to meet at Rice's Holloway Field the following Sunday (Feb. 21). Start time for that match vs. Tigers, which was originally scheduled as a second meeting between the schools, is set for 1 pm.
The Owls are 2-0-0 on the young season with wins over McNeese and UTSA. The earlier 2-1 victory over McNeese was itself a rescheduled match from the week before.
