Golf Heads to Bentwater Intercollegiate

HOUSTON — For the second straight week, the Rice golf team will stay in Texas when it travels to Montgomery for the Bentwater Intercollegiate. The tournament will be played at the par-71, 6,788-yard Bentwater Country Club and is hosted by Sam Houston.

Joining Rice in the field are Florida Atlantic, Houston Baptist, Midland CC, Nichols State, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston, South Alabama, South Dakota State, UTRGV, UTSA and Texas State.

Following the Bentwater Intercollegiate, the Owls will close out the fall campaign when it travels to Loxley, Ala., for the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 30-31.
