Golf Duo in Top Ten after Day One of Bentwater Intercollegiate

Montgomery, Texas — Freshman Raghav Chugh and senior Harrison Hineline are in the top ten after one round of the Bentwater Intercollegiate.
Chugh is tied for second-place after firing a 69. It was his first career round in the 60's and his second round of par or better. Hineline is tied for sixth-place, carding a season-best 70. It's his first round of par or better this year and is the 13th of his career.
Rice is tied for ninth-place with Nicholls State after shooting a 296.
Senior Jack Diamond is tied for 32nd-place after carding a 74. Senior Jake Benson posted a 75 to sit in a tie for 41st-place. Junior Thomas Bockholt III is tied for 62nd-place after shooting a 78 and sophomore Rodrigo Martin posted a 79 to sit in a 65th-place tie.
Texas State leads the team competition at one-over par, two strokes in front of second-place Sam Houston and Midland Community College. Texas State's Terrin Anderson leads the individual competition, one stroke in front of Chugh, Sam Houston's Chad Sewell, Midland CC's Samuel McKenzie and South Dakota State's Jack Tanner.
