
Trevisan Set to Join Owls in 2020-21

Future teammates back in action on Sunday
Rice women's tennis coach Elizabeth Schmidt has announced the signing of Federica Trevisan to a National Letter of Intent to join the Owls for the 2020-21 season.
A native of Venice, Italy, Trevisan has a career-best ITF Junior ranking of 264 and a WTA ranking of 1227 in singles and a career high WTA doubles ranking of 897. She has multiple G4 and G5 wins in singles and well as G3 and G4 wins in doubles.
"We are excited about the addition of Federica to our team. She a very skilled and accomplished tennis player who has a lot of experience playing team tennis. In addition, she is as driven and hard working in the classroom as on the court. We are looking forward to her getting on campus in August and joining our team."
