Men’s Basketball Hosts New Orleans in Non-Conference Finale

HOUSTON — Rice will host New Orleans this Monday, December 21, in its non-conference finale. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed by CUSAtv.
Scouting Rice
• Rice enters Monday's game with a 5-2 record after falling to Sam Houston State on Saturday, 82-69.
• Sophomore Quincy Olivari leads the Owls with 18.6 points per game, which is fourth in Conference USA. He leads the league in three-point field goal percentage (54.2%) and three-pointers made per game (3.7) and is fourth in field goal percentage (53.5%).
• Sophomore guard Travis Evee is second on the team with 11.9 points per game and leads the team in steals (1.6 spg).
• Sophomore forward Max Fiedler is nearly averaging a double-double, scoring 10.3 points per game while pulling down 9.7 rebounds per game, good for second in the conference. He also leads the team in field goal percentage (58.5%) and assists per game (3.3).
• Junior guard Chris Mullins is scoring 11.4 points per game while graduate forward Tre Clark is adding 5.7 rebounds per game.

• Redshirt junior guard Damion Rosser is sixth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game. He is also third in the Southland in field goal percentage (55.4%) and is tied for the team league in rebounds (5.9 apg).
• New Orleans is averaging just 64.9 points per game while allowing 74.3.
