Bokunewicz Nominated for McDonald’s All-American Game

HOUSTON – Rice women's basketball lone signee Maya Bokunewicz (State College, Pa., College Area HS) has been nominated for consideration to participate in the 2020 McDonald's All-American Game, the organization announced.
From the list of nation's notable high school seniors, the Games' Selection Committee will identify the top 24 girls to play in the 43rd annual edition of the event.
Bokunewicz, who recently surpassed 1,000 career points, averaged 16 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 steals her junior season, earning First Team Mid-Penn Commonwealth honors. In addition, Bokunewicz was a first-team PennLive All-Star and helped lead State College to a PIAA Class 6A tournament appearance.
The final roster for the game will be revealed later this month, which will be played April 1 in Houston at the Toyota Center.
