HOUSTON - The No. 18 Rice Owls volleyball team will look to continue their winning ways this weekend when they hit the road for a pair of C-USA contests, beginning Friday at Charlotte (5 p.m. CT). Rice will then travel to UAB on Sunday (1 p.m. CT) as the Owls are in the midst of playing four of six matches away from Houston to close out the regular season.
The Owls have won 10 consecutive matches dating back to Sept. 18 and during that time have dropped just three sets. The 49ers have dropped four of their last six matches but hold a 7-3 record at home this season. Meanwhile, UAB has lost three of their last four tilts, including a 3-1 loss at home to Florida Atlantic last time out.

- Senior libero Lee Ann Cunningham enters this weekend 15 digs shy of 2,000 for her career. The Louisville, Ky. native ranks eighth among active NCAA Division I players in career digs.
- Rice currently ranks Top-20 in the NCAA in kills per set (3rd-14.74), winning percentage (6th-.950), assists per set (7th-13.44), digs per set (13th-17.59), opponents hitting percentage (15th-.147), and hitting percentage (16th-.273).
- Junior outside hitter Nicole Lennon ranks 5th in the NCAA in kills per set (5.05), 9th in points per set (5.35) and 17th in attacks per set (12.02).
- Sophomore middle blocker Anota Adekunle ranks 8th in the NCAA in hitting percentage (.431) while senior middle blocker Grace Morgan is 6th in C-USA (.324).
