HOUSTON — Rice looks to close its fall schedule on a high note this weekend, Oct. 26-27, when it travels to Loxley, Ala., for the fourth annual Steelwood Collegiate Invitational, played at the par-72, 7,096-yard Steelwood Country Club and hosted by South Alabama.

"We just have to be in a really good mindset this week. It's important for us to really be thinking properly, having a good attitude out there and thinking positive. There's going to be some poor weather. Last week we played in some rain and got that experience. So, I think that prepared us pretty well to face the conditions. We're a really good team. We have to go in thinking that we're going to play well this week and I think we will."
TEAM FIELD
Arkansas State, who is ranked 38th in the latest Golfstat rankings, heads the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational field. Also joining Rice are Cincinnati, Davidson, Indiana, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Navy, North Alabama, Richmond, South Alabama and Wofford.
