Owls in the NFL-Week 9
Here's a look at the Owls efforts on the field in Week Nine:
Chris Boswell—Connected on a 29-yard field goal and added a pair of extra points as the Steelers improved to 5-2-1 on the season with a 23-16 win at Baltimore. They will be back in action on Thursday night when they host Carolina.
Bryce Callahan- Matched his former Rice cornerback partner Phillip Gaines with four tackles, but Callahan's Bears came out on top, downing Buffalo 41-9. He will be on his home turf this weekend when Luke Willson and the Detroit Lions visit Soldier Field on Sunday.
Christian Covington—Contributed a tackle for loss on the last play before Denver's failed attempt at a game-winning field goal as the Texans won their sixth straight game, 19-17. The Texans head into the bye week with a two-game lead in the AFC South. They will be back in action in two weeks when they host Washington at NRG Stadium.
Emmanuel Ellerbee—Made his debut with Seattle, facing off against his former Charger teammates. Los Angeles held on for a 25-17 win in Seattle. The Seahawks will be in Los Angeles next Sunday to take on the Rams.
Phillip Gaines—Matched tackle totals with his former partner in the Rice defensive backfield, Bryce Callahan, but the Bills fell to Chicago 41-9. They will face the New York Jets this Sunday.

.Andrew Sendejo—Inactive because of an injury for the fourth consecutive week as the Vikings beat Detroit 24-9 heading into a bye this week.
Jordan Taylor—Completing his rehab from offseason surgery on both hips, he began practicing with the Broncos three weeks ago, but has not yet been placed on the active roster. The deadline to either activate him from the Physically Unable to Perform list or shut him down for the season is today (November 5).
Luke Willson—Reached 100 career catches with the second of his two receptions for 17 yards in a 24-9 loss to Minnesota. He will face his former Rice teammate Bryce Callahan this week as the Lions visit the Bears on Sunday.
Also of note, Peter Godber, is currently on the six-game injury list for the BC Lions in the CFL who head into the CFL playoffs this weekend after dropping the season finale to Calgary, 26-9. The Lions will take on Hamilton in the first round of the playoffs on Sunday at noon.
