Here's a look at the Owls efforts on the field in Week 12 (all times central):
Chris Boswell—Converted both PATs, kicked a field goal and threw the first TD pass by an Owl in an NFL game since 1998 in a 24-17 loss at Denver. Boswell's 2-yard TD pass to lineman Alejandro Villanueva off a fake field goal was the first scoring pass by a Rice product since Donald Hollas hit Tim Brown with a TD pass on Dec. 6, 1998. Boswell and the Steelers host the Chargers on Sunday night 7:20 p.m. (NBC)
Bryce Callahan-Credited with four tackles against Luke Willson and the Lions on Thanksgiving Day as the Bears improved to 8-3 on the season. They travel to New York on Sunday to take on the Giants at noon (FOX)
Christian Covington—Had a career night to help the Texans extend their winning streak to eight games. Covington was credited with 2.5 sacks and four tackles in the 34-17 win over Tennessee. His 2.5 sacks were better than his previous season total (2 in 2015). The Texans will be back at home at NRG Stadium on Sunday, facing Phillip Gaines and the Cleveland Browns at noon. (CBS)
Emmanuel Ellerbee—On the Seahawks practice squad.
Phillip Gaines— Credited with a special teams tackle in the Browns 35-20 win at Cincinnati. After making an appearance earlier this year at NRG Stadium while with the Bills, he will play in Houston for a second time this year as the Browns face the Texas at noon on Sunday. (CBS)
Vance McDonald— Caught three passes for 27 yards in the Steelers 24-17 loss at Denver. McDonald has already reached career highs in receptions (36) and receiving yards (444). The Steelers host the Chargers on Sunday night 7:20 p.m. (NBC)
Andrew Sendejo—Missed his sixth consecutive game with a groin injury as the Vikings defeated Green Bay 24-17. His next opportunity to return to action will be on Sunday as Minnesota travel to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots at 3:35 on Sunday (FOX).
Jordan Taylor—Will remain on the Physically Unable to Perform list for the season as he rehabs from off-season hip surgery.
Luke Willson— Was back in the starting lineup in the Lions traditional Thanksgiving game, catching one pass for four yards. Detroit will host the Los Angeles Rams at noon on Sunday. (FOX)
