Stillwater, Okla. -- The Rice Owls men's cross country team placed 13th out of 23 schools competing at the 73rd OSU Cowboy Jamboree at the OSU cross country course. The No. 5-ranked Northern Arizona Lumberjacks claimed the individual winner in Jordan Chipangama and the team title.
Rice's Simon Bucknell was the first Owl to finish. Bucknell placed 72nd with a time of 25:37.90. Michael Trejo placed 75th and completed the 8k course with a time of 25:39.50.
William & Mary, which is ranked No. 13 in the USTFCCCA rankings, claimed second-place in the team standings.
