2012-2013: Conference USA Academic Medalist; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Kathryn E. Scholl True Blue Spirit Award (presented to the Owl who has shown dedication, discipline and leadership, but most importantly consistent hard-work and commitment, to the team concept)... Won her third-straight C-USA individual title in the 400-individual medley (4:16.45) in as many years... Was a full three seconds behind first place midway through the breaststroke leg of the C-USA[apos]s 400-IM before rallying with a steady 57.51 in the final 100-freestyle to win the league title by more than two seconds over second place... Won the 400-IM then came back the next day to win the silver medal in the mile behind teammate Erin Flanigan after a career-best 16:33.48... The first 1,000-yards of her C-USA mile was the fastest of her career (10:02.72)... Finished fifth in the conference in the 200-IM with a career-best 2:02.61, part of a Rice scoring barrage where the Owls claimed four of the top six spots... Scored 51 points at the C-USA meet to help the Owls win the second league title in the program[apos]s history...
