2012-2013: Conference USA Academic Medalist; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Kathryn E. Scholl True Blue Spirit Award (presented to the Owl who has shown dedication, discipline and leadership, but most importantly consistent hard-work and commitment, to the team concept)... Won her third-straight C-USA individual title in the 400-individual medley (4:16.45) in as many years... Was a full three seconds behind first place midway through the breaststroke leg of the C-USA[apos]s 400-IM before rallying with a steady 57.51 in the final 100-freestyle to win the league title by more than two seconds over second place... Won the 400-IM then came back the next day to win the silver medal in the mile behind teammate Erin Flanigan after a career-best 16:33.48... The first 1,000-yards of her C-USA mile was the fastest of her career (10:02.72)... Finished fifth in the conference in the 200-IM with a career-best 2:02.61, part of a Rice scoring barrage where the Owls claimed four of the top six spots... Scored 51 points at the C-USA meet to help the Owls win the second league title in the program[apos]s history... The 51 points was the seventh-highest on the team. 2011- 2012: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Defended her C-USA individual championship in the 400-yard individual medley with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 4:18.67, becoming the first Owl to win back-to-back league titles since All-American Mandy Mularz claimed the WAC championship in the 50-freestyle in 2002 and 2003... Led a 1-2 Rice finish in the 400-IM with Shelby Bottoms for the league[apos]s fastest times of the year... Reached the championship finals of two other C-USA events and notched a pair of fifth place finishes in the 200-IM and the mile... Swam a career-best 2:03.83 in the 200-IM... Posted a season-best 16:49.01 in the mile as the Owls claimed three of the top five spots in the event... Scored a total of 48 points at the C-USA meet, the sixth-highest total on the team... Finished second in the mile at conference with a career-best time of 16:45.58, the fifth-fastest mark in school history... Fastest mile by an Owl freshman in five years... Placed tenth in the league in the 500-freestyle with a career-best 4:58.63... Scored a total of 44 points for the Owls at the C-USA meet, the sixth-highest total on the team...
