2014: Appeared in three games, all against Conference USA competition... Totaled 50 minutes of playing time, with a season-high 25 minutes against Southern Miss... Attempted shots against Southern Miss and Old Dominion.
2013: Played in a total of 16 games in first season of Division I soccer... Worked her way into two starts, including the Owls' postseason appearance in the Conference USA Tournament... Averaged 40.9 minutes of playing time per game... Played a career-high 70 minutes in the road win at Vanderbilt... Recorded the assist on Holly Hargreaves' game-tying goal in the C-USA match at UTEP... Earned her first start two days later at UTSA... Scored a goal on her only shot of the day in the conference road game at Louisiana Tech, a victory that helped the Owls clinch a spot in the league tournament... Named the Roadrunners `Attacking Player Of The Year' (09'-10' & 10'-11') and was the team's leading scorer... Standout on the school's track and cross country teams, earning the Most Valuable Runner award and winning league championships in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter races.
Personal -- Full name: Isabella Hernandez (prefers the nickname "Bella.") Parents: Richard and Rosie Hernandez of Westchester, Calif., (has one brother). Chose to attend Rice over Pepperdine, Princeton, Cal State Fullerton, USC, Fresno State, and University of Iowa.
