2023-24 (Senior)
Went 14-11 and 10-10 in singles and doubles play, respectively, including 10-7 and 9-7 marks during the dual match season... Earned five clinching points during the season, including the 4-3 win against ITA-ranked Old Dominion (6-0, 7-6 (3)), plus 4-2 wins over Tulane (5-7, 6-4, 7-5) and UT-Arlington (6-2, 6-2) and sweeps over Prairie View A&M and Dartmouth... Recorded four separate unbeaten streaks of at least three matches on the year, including three during the dual match season and a season-long streak of five matches... Went 7-4 at the No. 2 position in the doubles lineup, including a 6-3 mark while playing alongside freshman Petro Kuzmenok... Reached the Round of 32 at the ITA Regionals with a win over TCU's Duncan Chan (6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-1) in the opening round of the main draw.
2022-23 (Junior)
Spring: Named the winner of the Sammy Giammalva Award as team MVP after posting an 8-10 on the season, including a 3-6 mark in his first action at the first line… Clinched Rice’s first win over a ranked team since 2017 with a 7-0 effort in a third-set tiebreak at #68 New Mexico 2-6, 7-5, 7-6(0)… 1-Defeated Cal Poly’s 77th ranked Noah Berry, bouncing back from a 10-8 tiebreak loss in the first set 6-7(8),6-4, 6-2… lost to MTSU’s #80 Stijn Slump 6-7(2); 6-7(2), and had no decision against Texas A&M’s #38 Noah Schachter 0-6, 7-6(8), 1-1… Started Rice’s rally from down 3-1 vs. USF in the season-opener, with a straight-set win… Opened the season at the second doubles line with Barnett and were 3-2 before moving to the first line… Dropped their first two at the top spot, then closed the year winning nine of their last 12 decisions (and were leading 5-4 in a 13th match)… 2-1 vs. ranked doubles opponents, winning their last two… Defeated Texas A&M’s Trey Hilderbrand and Noah Schachter (#39) 6-3 on 4/1 and SMU’s #66 Adam Neff and Kyle Sillman 7-5 on 4/15. Fall: Won a career-best seven singles matches in fall competition, closing the year with an unbeaten run at the Rice Fall Challenge (3-0 in singles, 2-0 in doubles).
2021-22 (Sophomore)
Spring: Enjoyed a breakout sophomore season posting career-best records in both singles (14-10) and doubles (13-9)… Led the team with four clinch points (ACU, A&M Corpus Christi, Richmond, and UTSA)… Opened the season by winning his first six singles matches, all in straight sets, and only lost more than three games in one set... Fall: Was 3-6 in singles and 2-5 in doubles in his first season of fall tournament action.
2021 (Freshman)
Spring: Joined the Owls in the spring and picked up his first collegiate win by combining with Wes Barnett for a 6-4 doubles win in the opening match at UTSA... Posted an 8-5 record in singles, including wins in six of his last eight decisions… 4-0 at the fifth line and 3-5 at the sixth… Posted an 8-6 mark in doubles while playing at the third line… Clinched five of the Owls 12 doubles points.
High School/Juniors
Ranked as high as 22nd in the USTA Boys 18 and under rankings and is ranked as the No. 37 senior by Tennis Recruiting News. In his last three tournaments, he reached the singles finals of an USTA Level 2 tournament, finished third in a Level 3 event in Virginia and reached the round of 16 of the USTA National Indoor Championship in Kansas City, Kansas in November... 2018 Fila R.E.A.C.H Award winner (Realizing Extraordinary Accomplishments with Courage and Humility).
