Trey Odom is in his second year as a graduate assistant working with the Owls running backs.
Odom originally came to Rice in the spring of 2018 as a recruiting analyst, serving in that capacity through the end of the 2020 fall recruiting effort.
He was an All-District cornerback for Gary Joseph at Katy High school in 2016 and was a member of the Tigers' 2015 State champions who were ranked first in the nation.
He played cornerback at Missouri Southern State in 2017 before transferring to the University of Houston in 2018 to begin his coaching career as a student coach with the Cougars. He worked with coach Lamar Morgan and the Cougars' safeties.
