Spring: Finished 4-5 in singles, including a 4-4 mark while playing at the fourth position Delivered a pair of clinch points, including the decisive point in a 4-3 win over Houston with a three set win over Constanden Nicoladou (6-4, 2-6, 6-2) Posted an overall mark of 10-5 in doubles, including a 6-3 mark with Priya Niezgoda Pair was 2-1 when facing C-USA opponents Closed strongly by winning five of their last six decisions Three of their six wins clinched the doubles point for the Owls, including wins over WKU and ODU at the C-USA Championship. Fall: Posted a 5-2 mark in singles, with three of the wins coming in an unbeaten performance at TCUâ ‚¬ „¢s Haunted Horned Frog Classic.
2016-17 (Sophomore)
Spring: Won a career-high nine matches as a sophomore, including a 4-4 mark at the fourth position Finished with an overall mark of 16-12 in singles Twice posted three-match winning streaks Finished simultaneously with Lindsey Hodge to clinch the C-USA semifinal match vs. North Texas. Fall: Combined with Katherine Ip to take the 1B Doubles title at the Rice Fall Invite.. Top singles effort came at the LSU Fall Classic when Astete defeated #38 Jessica Golovin of LSU 1-6, 7-6(2), 6-1 .
2015-16 (Freshman)
Spring: Finished 3-5 in singles and 2-3 in doubles in her first season of collegiate action Picked up a win at Lamar in her dual debut and added wins vs. Maryland-Baltimore County Finished 3-5 in singles and 2-3 in doubles in her first season of collegiate action Picked up a win at Lamar in her dual debut and added wins vs. Maryland-Baltimore County Fall: Tied for team lead with nine singles wins (9-5) and added an 8-4 mark in doubles... Combined with Savannah Durkin to capture the Second Flight doubles title at the Rice Invitational while reaching the Third Flight singles final before it was rained out... Advanced to Round of 32 at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional before dropping a tiebreaker to 51st ranked Lynn Kiro of Texas Tech.

Attended Colegio para deportistas de alto rendimiento in Santiago... Top ranked junior in Chile as a senior in high school and reached #71 in the ITF Junior rankings.
