Men’s Golf to Participate in Prestigious Cabo Collegiate

HOUSTON — Rice will head to Cabo, Mexico to participate in the prestigious Cabo Collegiate this Sunday-Tuesday, Mar. 1-3. The Owls will also send three individuals to the Colin Montgomerie HCU Invitational on Mar. 2-3, played at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas.

Rice is ranked No. 66 in the latest Scoreboard rankings. Joining the Owls in the 15-team field are No. 4 Vanderbilt, No. 7 Arizona State, No. 9 Arkansas, No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 13 Ole Miss, No. 17 Georgia Tech, No. 18 Tennessee, No. 20 Stanford, No. 27 Arizona, No. 39 Florida State, No. 54 Houston, No. 76 Cal. UC Santa Barbara and Loyola (Md.) are also participating.

Play begins at 9:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start. The Owls will tee off from holes 14-18 and compete in groups with student-athletes from Arizona State, UC-Santa Barbara, and Loyola (Md.). Monday and Tuesday's tee times and pairings will depend on results following the previous round.
