Rice Athletics to Partner with Nike and Game One

New official outfitter of Rice Athletics beginning July 1, 2026
HOUSTON -Rice Vice President and Director of Athletics Tommy McClelland announced on Monday that the Owls will partner with Nike as the official outfitter of Rice Athletics in advance of the 2026-27 academic year. Game One, an industry leader as an equipment supplier to over 130 colleges and universities across the nation, will also become the official supplier of the Owls' uniform, apparel, and footwear needs.
"After a careful examination of the presentations from a number of the top apparel brands, it was apparent that partnering with Nike, along with Game One was the right decision for the Owls," McClelland said. "The power of the Nike brand is unmatched, and outfitting our men and women in their apparel is another step in our mission to provide a best-in-class experience for our student-athletes."
