
Women's Tennis Earns Three CSC Academic All-District Distinctions

GREENWOOD, Ind. — College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) has released its Academic All-District honors for the 2024-25 women's tennis season, with three Rice Owls being named to the team.
The three Owls honored are Divna Ratkovic, Darya Schwartzman, and Allison Zipoli.
DIVNA RATKOVIC | ECONOMIC & SPORT MANAGEMENT
Ratkovic finished her sophomore season with a 14-4 singles record and an 8-9 doubles record. During the fall, she earned the AAC's autobid to the ITA Masters by winning the Women's Individual Championship. The Bar, Montenegro native was named to the AAC All-Conference team this season.
DARYA SCHWARTZMAN | PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCES & HEALTH SCIENCES
Schwartzman had a career year on the courts, including reaching 33rd in the ITA Doubles rankings with partner Fernanda Martinez, reaching that mark by defeating the then-7th ranked duo in the nation from Pepperdine. She finished the year with a 11-7 singles record and a 15-7 doubles record this season. She was named to the AAC All-Conference team after the year.
ALLISON ZIPOLI | BUSINESS FINANCE & ENGLISH
Returned to the courts in 2025 after an injury caused her to miss the 2024 season, posting an 8-8 singles record over the year. Zipoli helped lead her team to the NCAA Tournament with a 17-7 team record, earning a spot in the College Station Regional. The Winnetka, Illinois native graduated with her degree in May of 2025.
