Rice Opens Outdoor Season at UH

HOUSTON – The Rice women's track and field team opened the outdoor campaign with a small team showing at the University of Houston's Kirk Baptiste Spring Break Invite on Thursday afternoon.
Rice will have a full team outing next weekend at the Victor Lopez Classic.
Riana Green had a strong season debut, finishing third in the 200m with a time of 24.19s.
Cici Calhoun and Elle Garcia had second and third-place finishes in the 1500m.
Over in the shot put, Morgan Fey had a second-place showing with a distance of 14.47m.
