Phillip Competes on Day One of NCAA Zone Diving Championship

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Rice graduate diver Megan Phillip competed in the first diving zone for the Owls in over 30 years on Monday at the University of Iowa Aquatics Center.
In preliminary action, Phillip finished 48th with a final score of 248.10, finishing above divers from institutions such as TCU, SMU, Arkansas, and North Texas.
Phillips will conclude her time in NCAA Zones tomorrow with the one meter dive. Preliminaries will begin at 12 p.m., while finals will begin at 3 p.m.
