Montgomery, Texas — Senior Raghav Chugh leads a trio of Rice Golf individuals at the Bentwater Intercollegiate, played at Bentwater Country Club in Montgomery.
Chugh is tied for 20th-place at even par after carding rounds of 70-72. The 70 is his fourth round of par or better this year and the 39th of his career.
Freshman William Johnson is +4, tied for 41st-place after rounds of 72-74, and redshirt sophomore Davis Byrd posted rounds of 76-72 to sit +6 and tied for 50th-place.
Abilene Christian's Preston Cooper leads the individual competition at -5, one stroke in front of Central Arkansas' Bogdan Sandrini, Midland's Benjamin Lund-Ravn, and Ethan Whitaker of Chattanooga.
