Kuzmenok and Navarro Earn Spot in NCAA Doubles Championship

SAN DIEGO – The Rice doubles team of Petro Kuzmenok and Santiago Navarro punched their ticket to the NCAA Doubles Championship with a third-place finish at the ITA Conference Masters.
Kuzmenok and Navarro secured their spot with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Amar Tahirovic and Brendan McDonald in the third-place playoff.
The duo went 3-2 in the tournament and improved to 7-2 on the season. They will compete at the NCAA Individual Championship from Nov. 18-23 in Orlando, Florida.
