Albers Named American Conference Honorable Mention

IRVING – The Rice soccer team collected more conference recognitions with Eileen Albers being named American Conference Honorable Mention, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Albers recorded a brace with two goals in Rice's 3-1 win over South Florida Sunday afternoon, recording the game-tying and game-sealing goals.
Albers has four goals and one assist on the season for nine points. She ranked second on the team in goals and points.
Rice (9-2-3, 3-1-3 American) resumes American Conference play Sunday afternoon at North Texas.
