Owl Fest 2024 will be Saturday, August 17th at 5:00 p.m. inside Rice Stadium
Owl Fest 2024, the free annual fan fest for Rice fall sports, is scheduled for this Saturday, August 17th inside Rice Stadium.
Gates 1 and 2 will open at 5 p.m., with members of the cross country, soccer and volleyball teams signing autographs beginning at 5:15 p.m.
The football team will host an open scrimmage on the grass practice field beginning at 5:30 p.m. RSVP to have a chance to win two free reserved seat season tickets for the upcoming football season.
At the conclusion of the scrimmage, the football team's leadership council will sign autographs. The event will give members of the Rice Family and friends in the community their first chance to celebrate the start of the upcoming athletic season and meet and greet their favorite players and teams!
Activities during the kickoff event will include the Shop Rice Owls team apparel shop and a variety of family-friendly fun, such as food trucks and an inflatable kid's zone.
Fans will also be able to experience a full slate of food and beverages, face painting, a cool breeze zone, balloon artist, roaming photo booth, DJ Ethan Capps, Kona Ice, and other refreshments,.
Throughout the event, the Rice Ticketing staff will be available at the Fan Services table to help fans lock in their seats for the upcoming year. Admission to Owl Fest is free, and complimentary parking is available in the Greenbriar Lot on the west side of the stadium.
Single-game tickets for all six of Rice's 2024 home football games are now on sale starting at $22 online at TicketMaster or by calling (713) 348-OWLS (6957). Owls' fans also have the option to secure their same seats for all six games by purchasing season tickets or they can create their own customized two or three-game mini plans.
